Information Systems Security Representative, Top Secret Clearance, DC/VA

We are an information technology and strategic business consulting firm focusing on improving business performance through the use of technology and information analysis. We have developed a company to work in one of two areas: enabling success and/or stabilizing activities.

Our team consists of experienced consultants in the areas of emerging technologies, enterprise integration/operation, e-government, enterprise business applications, and strategy/business process improvement. Our experiences and capabilities expand both the public and private domains.

Responsibilities:

* Assist HQ divisions and Field Offices in the compliance with prevailing Federal governing directives for IT systems and facilities, particularly as applies to the C&A process.
* Facilitates the C&A process by working through a network of ISSOs, system owners, certifiers and accreditation representatives.
* Identifies system residual risks and reviews computer system certification documentation for completeness and accuracy in conjunction with system accreditation.
* Analyzes and evaluates suitability of proposed security architectures for new IT systems and networks.
* Works with certification and accreditation authorities to define appropriate system and network assurance requirements.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree
* 9+ years experience in computer system security or 10+ years experience without a degree.
* Working knowledge of NIST, DCID 6/3 or DoD (DITSCAP/DIACAP) guidance, security requirements and processes.
* Experience using NIST and DISA STIGS and Scripts
* Working understanding of Computer Networking and Networking Technologies.
* CISSP certification preferred, other certifications (CAP, CCNA, GIAC, etc.) a plus.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate customer interaction, as well as strong organization and prioritization skills to work on various projects/systems of varying scale and priority.
