Today's challenging global environment and IAP's tremendous growth has resulted in an opportunity at our Corporate Headquarters in Cape Canaveral, FL for an IT Manager, with an emphasis on contingent overseas operations.

This key position, based in Cape Canaveral, Florida with significant overseas OCONUS accountability, will manage the development and production activity of the project's Information Technology staff engaged in computer operations, systems, programming, telecommunications and network operations to assure effective and timely IT resources are provided for mission success. This individual will manage the directional setting for application and database development, maintenance, implementation and support; and prioritize, coordinate and manage the delivery of application development, implementation and/or support projects. Project management to include recommendation and development of plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchasing, budget, staff and resource needs. Critical to this position will be the requirement to rapidly develop new IT strategies in a contingency setting and utilize solution oriented thinking for the most complex or unprecedented requirements in unforeseen conditions.

Qualified individuals should possess the following:

  • Bachelor Degree with major related to Information Technology
    Eight years professional level IT experience, including two years in a supervisory position.
    Strong working knowledge with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) especially Oracle.
    Applications: Client/Server fully integrated finance applications
    OR: Client/Server fully integrated maintenance management applications, ie; Datastream MP2, SPAN FM, Marcam, JB Systems, MAXIMO
    RDBMS: Oracle
    OS: MS Win95 or MS-NT Client, MS-NT Server, MS Server 2000, HP-UX Server (Unix)
    Working knowledge of Internet development tools, ie; HTML, DHTML, JavaScript programming, using and editing Java Server Pages, Actuate Reporting
  • Recent and relevant Contingency Operations experience, especially in government contracting
  • Strong written, verbal, and high degree of analytical skills in managing multiple tasks within a global marketplace.

  • Current active clearance or the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance at the secret level
  • Willingness to deploy overseas on short notice for extended work assignments - Global travel requirement may be up to 50%.
