Description
Kforce is currently looking for a Information/Usability Architect for a large client in Columbus, Ohio. The Information Architect will help build a culture that is able to collect, analyze, and interpret relevant behavioral data and turn it into compelling, useful and successful personas, features, functionality, and interface solutions. As a member of the User Experience Team, the User Architect will consult with business leads, other information architects/user interface designers, and other user experience team members to conduct a variety of research including usability studies, participatory design sessions, ethnographic field studies, heuristic evaluations and cognitive walkthroughs. With full competency in IT Business Integration Analysis and Systems Analysis, this person performs functional analysis and design activities for moderately complex IT solutions by eliciting, defining, validating and translating business objectives across IT solution initiatives. For more information, please contact Bill Hart at or (see below) ! The responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to:
  • Strong experience with building wireframes from scratch.
  • Directly responsible for the design and execution of usability projects
  • Responsible for consulting with project teams to understand business and design goals and selecting the appropriate methodology
  • Gathers information on user needs and goals from field studies, usability studies, site visits, market researchers, support personnel, customer feedback channels; turn that data into actionable design requirements and use it to influence product direction
  • Apply knowledge in human factors, cognitive psychology, ethnography, anthropology, and the user-centered design process to product design
  • Consult with other user experience team members on their work and deliverables


Candidates must have expert ability to transform the business through the innovative application of technology. Candidates must have demonstrated analytical ability to understand functional requirements and determine their impact to business objectives.
