Description
Our client is currently looking for an Infrastructure Architect to join their team in Lakeland, FL. We invite you to review the position requirements below and apply today if your skills match our need.

Salary: $76,500 - 115,000

Responsibilities:
- Participating in defining the technical platform architecture and developing plans to implement the architecture.
- Defining principles, guidelines and technology definitions for the technical platform infrastructure;
- Developing as-is and to-be models of the technical platform architecture;
- Selecting standard products and solutions for the technical infrastructure;
- Planning implementation of products and solutions;
- Performing research on technology trends and emerging technologies;
- Maintaining architecture documentation; and
- Consulting with project teams and business areas on the technical platform architecture.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, an analytical discipline or equivalent experience;
- Extensive knowledge of information technology infrastructure including broad knowledge of mainframe, client/desktop, server, storage, network, systems software and systems management;
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent planning and organizational skills;
- Excellent analytical and decision making skills;
- Ability to work on multiple complex efforts simultaneously;
- Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship skills;
- Ability to adapt and relate technical solutions to complex business situations and strategies;
- Must show enthusiasm, initiative and pride in work

Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience as an Infrastructure Architect with 8+ years experience supporting the technical infrastructure in a large enterprise environment;
- Extensive knowledge of various operating system platform including z/OS, Unix and Windows;
- Working knowledge of networking, enterprise scheduling and event management technologies;
- Experience with infrastructure required to support dual redundant data centers;
- Knowledge of Portal and Web Infrastructure including portal servers, web servers, content management and search; and
- Knowledge of Systems Management Infrastructure including CA Unicenter, systems monitoring, performance monitoring and job scheduling.
