Infrastructure Engineer

True leadership opportunity for the right person

Candidate will be the lead technical contributor in infrastructure technologies. With minimal supervision, can provide technical leadership in developing complex platform solutions for client and/or host platform services. Must understand all facets of developing end-to-end services by utilizing and integrating industry standards and products. Must have deep technical knowledge in operating systems, client and/or hosting hardware, Back Office applications, Web and application services, network protocols, databases, connectivity services, storage, backup and recovery, and systems management concepts and techniques.

Requirements:

Requires a minimum of 5 years in infrastructure system design

Must have strong technical expertise in Storage Area Network design

UNIX and Linux system administration experience

Good understanding of network protocols

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience is required

Qualifications:

IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) 3+ Years

PowerPath 3+ Years

Red Hat Linux OS 5+ Years

Storage architecture 5+ Years

Sun/Solaris Hardware 5+ Years

System Administration 5+ Years

WebSphere Administration 3+ Years
