Description
A well know financial services company based out of New York City is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer.

Scope:

Responsible for the design, implementation and support of companies global directory & access services, including Active Directory, Identity Management, Remote Access, and IP Services.

Duties and responsibilities:

.Maintaining and supporting all aspects of a complex global AD infrastructure.
.Maintaining and supporting complex global IP services infrastructure which includes address management and name resolution services ( IPAM, DNS, DHCP and WINS).
.Provide support for internet access technologies including web proxies, reverse proxies, and client based remote access ( VPN ) .
Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows 2003/2008 server operating systems.
Interface with the other IT disciplines including the networking engineering, messaging, server, and desktop support teams to provide resolution of 3rd level service issues.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Qualifications Required ( minimum 4 years IT experience )

.Expert knowledge of Active Directory and IP Services in large corporate environment ( 500+ users ) required.
.Hands on experience building and configuring Windows 2003/2008 servers required.
.Strong critical thinking and analytical skills and ability to think "out of the box" required.
.Understanding of TCP/IP principles and LAN technology and use of network capture utilities.
.Excellent customer service and communication (oral / written) skills required.
