ITC is currently seeking an Infrastructure IT Manager


Job Summary:

This is a management level position responsible for analyzing and directing all IT related activities of the organization with supervisory responsibilities for all staff assigned to the IT department. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity of computer services for users throughout the organization through planning, technical leadership, budget management, and project coordination.

Essential Functions:

1. Perform all supervisory responsibilities associated with the IT department including employee related issues.

2. Enforce company policies and procedures as a member of management for all employees.

3. Present a professional image as a representative of the company.

4. Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers, and every level of management.

5. Align the goals of IT with corporate strategy and contribute to the continuity of computer services by providing necessary technical leadership and project coordination.

6. Forecast costs, equipment and personnel needs for projects and programs as required and related to IT operations.

7. Stay abreast of the latest developments in Information Technology and remain highly technically competent at all levels of data processing. Strive for enhanced user productivity through implementation of new software technology where applicable, and the implementation of policies that more effectively utilize MIS resources.

8. Prepares long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, and acquisition of the resources needed to support them.

9. Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and equipment suppliers.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Capture, monitor and analyze computer usage data, recommend and implement policies, software and hardware to provide maximum resource utilization in a cost-efficient manner.

2. Assume the leadership role in developing and maintaining a systems disaster recovery plan.

3. Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience/Skills
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Good understanding of current applications and trends in Information Technology.

2. Ability to analyze information related to computer technology in order to assist directing company management with the selection of software and hardware to meet the needs of the organization.

3. Strong interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to exercise strong judgment in analyzing, appraising, evaluating and solving problems of a difficult procedural, organizational, administrative or technical nature.

Training and Experience

1. Bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.

2. Experienced managing staff of 5 or more.

3. Experienced with both Windows & Linux servers in environments of at 50+ servers.

4. 3+ years in a leadership position.

5. EMC SAN/NAS experience a plus.

The position is more of a supervisor role than a Manager and is reporting to the Dir. Of Tech. Operations who reports to the CTO.
