Description of Duties : 1) Identify, manage and fix all reactive & proactive problems related to the technical data center environment including handling all problem management, service/enhancement requests and projects associated with the data center to meet or exceed the service level objectives (SLOs). 2) Specialize or be a subject matter expert (SME) in an area of technology associated with our data center environment, virtualization technology, any Microsoft technology, Cisco network/telephony technology, HP hardware, SAN/fiber channel hardware/software or mortgage processing business application. 3) Assist the infrastructure engineering team with technical projects. 4) Implementing the operations methodology framework for continuous improvement. Required Skills/Specific Job Duties:
This person will be a member of the 3 rd level infrastructure support team with a technical background able to function with little to no supervision or direction. He/she will have the following responsibilities



1) Responsible for day to day operational activities for backup/recovery of data (20%)

2) Responsible for 3 rd level support functions related to Denver & Charlotte data center (50%)

3) Responsible for installation/maintenance of infrastructure hardware/software (10%)

4) Help create process and procedures to ensure data and infrastructure integrity (20%)



Also, this individual will have the following technical skill sets

1) Detailed knowledge of Veritas NetBackup for Windows 5.x and 6.x, with at least 5 years hands-on experience in NetBackup administration.

2) Windows server 2xxx including clustered experience

3) Windows Active Directory (AD) experience

4) Vmware ESX server experience

5) Experience working in mid to large-scale data center infrastructures, with HP hardware

6) Basic SQL experience (Install and management)

7) Microsoft scripting experience a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. A BS in Computer Science or equivalent is desired. As well, candidate should have an MCSE or other technical certifications that demonstrate excellent technical skills.df-tc
