This position will be part of the team in our Madison Office, which is Berbee headquarters. Berbee Information Networks is the predominant technology solutions provider in this region. Madison is the only American city built on an isthmus which provides a beautiful setting and many recreational opportunities. The Inside Sales for Services position will provide support for creation and delivery of Solutions Sales tasks for the Berbee Microsoft Professional services team with little supervision, for a range of internal clients. The Inside Sales rep is expected to work from one geography.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains and develops business relationships with customers in support of the efforts of the Solution Specialists
  • Provides information and assistance to customers
  • Coordinates sales projects with the sales, order department, billing, and technical service groups
  • Prepares, proofreads, compiles and distributes proposals, statements of work, and customer correspondence
  • Prepares and distributes product configurations and customer quotes utilizing on-line tools
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems/discrepancies
  • Provides order processing and handles return merchandise authorizations for hardware products
  • Follows-up on outstanding invoices, reports discrepancies and updates the accounting department
  • Prepares and distributes customer contracts. Assists in obtaining signatures, distributing, and maintaining customer files and records
  • Keeps abreast of the products, applications, technical service, market conditions, and competitive activities
  • Performs administrative duties when administrative assistant is out of the office

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple activities at once and work under deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or the equivalent in experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the technology industry, preferably in networking hardware, software and/or services.
