Description
This position will be instrumental in the instillation of security hardware in a large datacenter. This will involve setup, configuration, and trouble shooting problems with cross function teams from the Facilities and Networking groups. Some off hour work (Friday night, Saturday, Sunday) may be required due to established maintenance windows for some portions of this work. Travel between multiple datacenters will be required.Requirements:- Ability to work and interface internally with a ISO Team members and other functional support groups with minimal guidance- Must be able to work in a team- Very strong computer networking skills (TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc.)- Have been in engineering and operational roles. Plus if both roles at the same time.- Enterprise aware (change control, downstream impacts, understanding of cause and effect, change windows, etc.)- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills- Good written and verbal communication skills- Travel within the US is required - Wireless LAN knowledgeable and Wireless IDS knowledge Plus:- Understanding of vulnerability assessment/network discovery and associated tools- Understanding of monitoring infrastructures - Radio Frequency/802.11 knowledge a plus Skills:- Data Center Moves, VISIO, Security Experience, Black Box Testing, Attention to Detail, Written Communication, TCP/IPAdditional Skils:- Travel between Virginia, Denver, CO, and Foster City, CA is required
