Seeking to Find Instructional Designer/Course Developer for top Medical Device Company!
Job Description:
Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities:

1.

Generate learning content by performing the following tasks:

Develop graphics to support learning content
Create audio, video, or other media objects in support of learning objectives
Develop eLearning courseware using various tools

Collaborate to deploy courseware on the corporate LMS.

Participate in QA of course materials and subsequent updates of courseware based on business requirements

Ability to design & develop instructional work product

Performs work on multiple projects with varying scope
Uses knowledge of tools, media, and prior experience to select workflow approaches that allow for completion of tasks in a timely manner
Collaborates with team members to develop and refine standards and processes to meet evolving business requirements
Through experience identifies and recommends tools, equipments, vendors, etc. to meet business needs
Collaboration

Works in a collaborative manner in a multidisciplinary setting
Adjusts individual priorities in context with team priorities, to meet goals in the face of multiple demands
Acts as a key contributor in a complex environment
Shares knowledge and assists others
Education or Equivalent:
BA in Instructional Technology, Multi-media, Graphics, or related field

Experience or Equivalent:
A minimum of 3 years of creating courseware for technical product audiences; 3 - 5 years using audio/video/image manipulation tools; has produced and delivered training content and materials for instructor led, Web based, and media driven delivery mechanisms. Experience in an FDA regulated business desired
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

Possess the written, verbal and group communication skills to navigate the organization, and identify where and how information can be located
Communicates appropriately across various levels of the organization
Able to escalate issues appropriately
Knowledge of adult learning and course development methodologies Proficiency in MS Office tools
Expert proficiency in courseware and media production tools (ie: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Lectora, Captivate, Flash, Final Cut, Premiere, etc.)
Work Environment:

Work is performed in an office environment. This is not a telecommuting role.
