Responsibilities:
Working within a Sales and Distribution department, this position will have the following responsibilities:

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN: Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training for Safeco independent sales agents using blended learning strategies. Work collaboratively with SMEs and internal business partners to determine needs and scope of training projects. Design training for company products, services, and information systems. Cultivate trust, respect, and good will of SMEs and internal business partners through great communication and quality training deliverables.

TEAM CONTENT PRODUCTION: Produce process deliverables including learning objectives, content outlines, storyboards, rapid prototypes, and scripts that clearly communicate instructional design decisions to the team. Work closely with team to produce high-quality final deliverables that may include virtual classroom modules, instructor guides, learner guides, printable job aids, interactive WBT modules, HTML online help, application demos, etc.

Qualifications:
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong interpersonal and meeting skills to drive consensus decision-making.
- Must have a strong drive for success and a natural tendency to embrace change.
- Must be focused under the challenges of multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Must have strong analytic skills, technical problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- 2-3+ years experience delivering interactive WBT modules
- 1+ years experience designing sales training.
- MS Word (expert-level skills, including mastery of Word styles)
- Dreamweaver/FrontPage/HTML editor (intermediate-level skills)
- Fireworks/Photoshop/graphic editor (basic-level skills)
- Preferred experience delivering virtual classroom modules (e.g. Centra or WebEx) and related instructor and learner guides.
- Preferred PowerPoint (expert-level skills)
- Some travel may be required.
