Candidate will work in IS Training Department. The primary responsibility for this role is training material development for concept materials, job aids, and/or simulations. Authors work in a collaborative environment individually or as part of a team of developers depending on project requirements. Depending on the project, authors may need to work collaboratively with multiple layers of subject matter experts.

This role does not have consultative responsibilities, but may have some project management (non-resource) responsibilities.

Experience/Skills
Skills Needed:
* Instructional design, and/or training development experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient using Office 2000 specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Paintshop Pro experience a plus
* Knowledge and experience with eLearning training development required
* Basic knowledge of graphic manipulation software
* Basic knowledge of simulation software

Other Duties:
* Build deliverables and design
* Instructional design
* Interact with SMEs of development team
* Knowledge of web-based training
* This position does not involve any standup training duties and eLearning training development experience is the key requirement for this position.
* Training is 70% web based, all built in-house with custom content for client.
* Long-Term contract relationship but not normally become FTE positions with client.
* Work mostly on capital budget projects.
