A senior-level professional, the Integration Architect is competent to work on complex projects and applies an in-depth knowledge of engineering/automation concepts, practices and procedures. The Integration Architect provide technical expertise in design and development of the application components required to integrate a complex J2EE application with several 3rd party COTS products and external entities. This is a key technical resource is responsible to implement a complex integration architecture for a large web application hosted on a UNIX platform. This position requires that the candidate must be able perform analysis and work interactively with customers.df-tc

Experience/Skills
REQUIRED:

(MINIMUM)
· Should have at least 10 years of I/T experience on a variety of platforms and technologies with at least 5 years of hands-on designing and developing N-Tier/SOA web-based business applications.
· Should be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
· Should have prior experience leading architects and developers.
· Should have prior hands-on experience using development tools (e.g. Rational, TogetherJ)
· Should have prior hands-on experience implementing Java components and Web Services
· Should have prior hands-on XML experience.
· Should have prior hands-on JMS experience.
· Should have prior hands-on experience in application integration using an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
· Should have prior hands-on experience integrating 3rd party COTS products.
· Should have experience in integrating with multiple external entities for both proprietary formats and X12 transaction exchanges.
· Should have strong object-oriented, design and development skills.
· Should have experience using an object oriented development methodology (e.g. RUP, Agile)
· Should have strong communication skills.
· Travel up to 25% should be expected.
· Should have a “can do” attitude.



PREFERRED:

· Ideal candidates will have prior health-care, insurance and/or Medicaid related experience.
· Prior product development experience.
· Prior experience on IBM Web Sphere Suite of products – Process Server/Enterprise Service Bus and Application Server.
· Prior experience using Rational Development tools.
