Description

cPanel is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Integration Specialist. This position will focus on supporting customer integration with cPanel products. To be proficient in this position, the individual will need to gain an in depth understanding of low level cPanel APIs, software architecture, and integration issues related specifically to cPanel software. Candidates must have prior experience developing quality software documentation and proven expertise with Perl. This position will require direct interaction with cPanel's development and design teams as well as cPanel customers. Prior experience with cPanel software is preferred but not required.


Qualifications:



  • US work eligibility

  • Perl proficiency

  • An understanding of XML

  • Documentation experience


    • Technical Writing

    • HTML and Javascript

    • Document Layout



  • Familiarity with rpm based *nix distributions (RedHat, Fedora, CentOS, etc)

  • Familiarity with ports based Operating Systems (FreeBSD)

  • General Linux/BSD System Administration Knowledge




Special consideration will be given to candidates who:



  • Are proficient with PHP

  • Are proficient with either C++/C#/ASP.NET

  • Have experience with cPanel software/products

  • Contribute to open source software projects




Job Duties:



  • Working with customers to achieve better integration with cPanel products and third party products

  • Creating and updating documentation on products and interfaces (APIs)

  • Working with development staff to document hooks, scripts and other tools

  • Coordinating with management and other departments to share knowledge
