Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Designs and writes moderately complex computer programs to handle application customization and application interfaces. Prepares program specifications and system diagrams. Reviews test procedures and makes revisions and refinements to existing programs of an intermediate level of complexity. Assist users with day-to-day problems by troubleshooting moderately complex problems occurring in programs or databases. Maintains communication with users concerning program problems. Discusses designs, which will meet their requirements. Assists users in use of programs and languages.
RESPONSIBILITES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for development and implementation.

Analyzes informational needs through employee interviews to clearly define requirements/problems. Develops systems requirements for review and acceptance of management.
Provide business analysis and programming support for maintenance and enhancement activities of the IT applications.
Develops Detailed Systems Design, which supports the system requirements and business needs.
Develops Systems computer codes, policies, procedures, and forms needed to support application design.
Develops and executes program unit and system testing.
Implements application programs and databases.
Develops and implements application documentation and user training.
Provides post implementation support of user questions and fine-tuning of application.
Plans, prioritizes and schedules concurrent system projects.
Maintains communications with management and users during development or maintenance cycle.
Coordinates users' activities during application development and maintains data and system integrity.
Maintains knowledge on current computer hardware and software technology.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education
Undergraduate degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent work experience and technical training is required.
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years experience in developing software applications in VB, SQL, SQL Server, ASP, VBScript or JavaScript, Object Oriented programming, HTML, Crystal Reports, COM, ActiveX.
Formally trained in the .NET technology.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience in coding, testing, documenting and deploying software applications desired.
