Technical Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
This position is responsible for supporting a secure, stable and mission-critical environment that supports the business processes and objectives.

Given a moderately complex business or technical issue, will identify and implement short- and long-term resolutions.

Direction:
Receives minimal instruction on daily work.
Receives general direction and supervision on new assignments.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Service Excellence & Business Acumen:
Generally understands key business systems and has a basic understanding of the major systems.
Based on client feedback, recommends and implements process improvement.
Interfaces with clients on service level issues and process improvements.
Assures first time quality at the process level.
Analyze and determine root cause.
Ensures the development and filing of technology and process documentation.

Collaboration & Communication:
Works on all phases of project; may lead small initiatives.
Participates in project planning; prioritizes work.

Complexity of Duties and Areas of Focus:
Researches available products (may assign some research to other staff) and recommends final product selection.
Works to develop vendor relations for product direction.
Works on problems of diverse scope requiring evaluation of a wide range of identifiable factors.
Builds project plans at the process level; contributes to plans at the integrated process level.
Understands the value and contributes to defining compliance and control requirements and documentation.

Experience/Skills
Responsibilities include Windows server configuration and installation, performance tuning, capacity planning, monitoring, business continuity planning, and overall support. This position also supports the established documented standards, policies and procedures that meet SOX requirements. Demonstrates strong technical expertise in several environments. Demonstrates knowledge of how products and services interface with the rest of the organization. Broad expertise or unique knowledge. BS in Computer Science, a related discipline or equivalent experience plus 5-8 years related experience. Experience managing technical disciplines, and of implementing, documenting and complying to standards, policies and procedures. Detail oriented, with commitment to quality. Expertise in one or more of the following: AD and Exchange 2003 implementation and support, Citrix, vmWare, SAN, MOM.
