May perform one or more of the following:
General Summary:
Responsible for designing, programming and testing inbound /outbound data interfaces to MIDAS’ products.

Essential Job Functions:
-Develop new or modify existing interfaces between HIS and MIDAS+ products.
-Develop new interfaces/integration projects between MIDAS+ projects and Hospitals Systems Vendors, such as Surgery, Pharmacy, Lab, Blood systems.
-Develop inbound/outbound intergration projects with the MIDAS+ Seeker product to include Web based access.
-Support data analysis of the MIDAS+ CPMS/DataVision process as it pertains to patient data for patient abstraction.
-Design and maintain table dictionary loads and conversions
-Supports Client Services Department with higher-level interface problems.
-Troubleshoot and support client problems.
-Load data for the Comparative Database.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Knowledge of programming. InterSystems Cache desired.
-Knowledge of HL7 design and coding .
-Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
-Strong analytical ability.
-Ability to establish effective, professional working relationships with clients and co-workers.

Education and Experience
An Associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a computer related field.
