Genesis 10 seeks an Interface VB Net consultant in Milwaukee ASAP. Recoding and documenting as data comes out of the DB2 system Taking data, creating file and sent to outside source Execution is with Informatica doing a one time load Design according to the mapping table using Informatica Working with batch programs with VB.Net Experience with converting old systems to talk with new systems (from staging to destination) Moving DB2 data (groups of 15) into 50-70 tables in SQL (doing the sequence, identify the tables to map etc) Mentor a mainframe team who has literally never worked with relational databases for this conversion, to include interfaces and mapping.
