Adecco Technical is seeking Business Systems Analyst
This individual is responsible for proactively identifying technology opportunities that impact business strategies and performance. Business Systems Analyst professionals educate project team members on business unit goals and objectives and educate the business on the value of information technology. Through excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to translate between technical and business language, they work collaboratively, negotiating requirements across multiple groups. Finally they must have an understanding of the overall IT architecture of the organization. The job of an Intermediate Business Systems Analyst (IBSA) is to collect, analyze, review, document, and communicate business needs and requirements (business and functional). Additionally, design user documentation, supports user development of test cases for system testing and provide the interface between I.S. and the functional organization. Works with business partners across multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies. Supports one or more moderately complex business requirements, requiring design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business. Serves as a project team member. Develops an approach to best analyze and create project deliverables. Responsible for the collection, analysis, design and documentation of business and functional requirements. Provides coaching and guidance to junior members. May provide process improvement recommendations. Participates in short-term development planning sessions with clients to implement process improvement. Generally involves using and improving information systems. Documents discussion and agreements. Assesses client needs utilizing a structured process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business requirements and recommend options, risks and cost vs. benefits. May provide input to cost/time estimates. Develops, writes, and communicates business and functional requirements for the design and implementation of business solutions. Obtains technical assistance to help in identifying technical solutions. Provides factual content to feasibility study for standard development projects and enhancements. Coordinates and facilitates work sessions with business partners and appropriate IT groups. Presents business and functional requirements documentation for sign-off. Updates documentation based on comments. Documents minutes from technology work sessions. Participates in technical design and testing work sessions. May develop test cases or test approach. Participates in quality reviews. May validate test results during testing. May assist in the development of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or select vendors for clients in accordance with IT standards and specifications as required. Identifies, communicates, negotiates, and manages project dependencies. Identifies, communicates, resolves and manages issues, risks, and action items. Participates in technical design, testing and architecture work sessions. Develops test cases or test approach. May review the test plan and monitor the testing process to ensure that business results are adequately tested and the remaining risks are acceptable. Investigates, resolves and escalates problems. Analyzes defect and/or metrics to ensure customer satisfaction. Supports and participates in the formal reporting of project status. May provide research for the recommendations of software packages. Experience/Skills
3-5 years of relevant technical and business work experience.
Bachelors degree in IS, CS, Business Management, or the equivalent of education and work experience
Must possess well-developed analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, organizational, planning, decision making, issues and risks management, accountability, initiative skills as well as outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
2-3 years experience with industry standards for business process modeling.
2-3 years experience facilitating JAD sessions.
1 year or more of Req Pro experience.
2 years or more of Web technology experience.
3 years or more experience MS Office, Visio, and Modeling Tools.
2 years or more experience in MS Project.
1 year or more experience with PMG, PVCS and/or TeamTrack.
1-2 years of transportation experience preferred, but not required.

Bachelor's degree required, Information Systems or Computer Science preferred
