International Web Developer

Hasbro is looking to fill a Web Developer position to support international web sites. This person will be on the Internet Development Team working on Hasbro's consumer facing web sites (, , , etc.). He/she must have keen attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects. Knowledge of a second language is not necessary.

Principle Duties:
  • Adapt US English (en_US) web sites for international markets using prebuilt design layouts and translated copy transcripts.
  • Support international site updates as new content and functionality is added to the en_US site.
  • Ensure that local markets can use existing tools to update content.
  • Recommend new tool functionality as needed, and/or assist in coding of new tools.
  • Assist in the creation of training documentation, including written and screencast.
  • Assist in the development of en_US sites when needed.

    Required Experience:
  • Proficiency in XHTML and CSS.
  • Familiarity with standards based design and development.
  • Experience with Photoshop, Fireworks or other image editing software.

    Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with Cold Fusion, Flash and Actionscript and Javascript.
  • Internationalization experience.df-tc
