Description
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing application systems architecture, design, data workflow, logical processes, and system interfaces. Assures synergy between software and hardware architecture to maximize that relationship. Assumes a mentor relationship to Internet Architects and application development team members.

Required Skills:
Four year college degree and 6 or more years professional experience or 8 or more years professional experience is required. Some experience in OO development, J2EE (JSP, JMS, EJB, Servlets, JDBC, etc.) XML, and RDMBS preferably with Oracle 8i or 9i. Candidates should have experience architecting and developing highly scalable, highly available enterprise applications. Experience with full systems lifecycle design and development, including some business/process analysis experience. Project or team management experience years developing highly scalable, highly available enterprise applications. Extensive Experience building and architecting both Internet and client server applications. Enterprise systems integration experience. Experience integrating with mainframe systems, with a focus on MQSeries middleware. Knowledge of and experience with transactional database access concepts. Experience with development methodologies. Knowledge of application-level security concepts. Experience developing/integrating Java based application frameworks. Experience with internet based financial applications.

Preferred Skills:
Appropriate TSYS experience is preferred.
