As an Internet Software Developer, you'll bring your insight and expertise in ASP.NET, VB.NET, Web Services, XML, SQL Server, Oracle and eCommerce to our advanced Microsoft shop. You'll play a key role in the full lifecycle development - including design and requirements, development, quality assurance, deployment and maintenance - of Internet products that work in concert with Blackbaud's powerful and versatile signature software solutions. These solutions help nonprofit organizations maximize fundraising and manage their day-to-day operations.

As an Internet Software Developer you will:
  • Brainstorm and formulate cutting-edge product breakthroughs, defining high-level design and requirements
  • Take a hands-on approach while participating in all phases of the development process
  • Help establish product roadmaps and schedules by prioritizing issues and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Evaluate performance of key application elements and fine-tune them to cover the range of customer use
  • Ensure program code is efficient and easy to maintain

Experience and Skills:
Blackbaud will consider only those candidates who have:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
  • At least 2 years in packaged commercial software development
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate solutions
  • Extensive Visual Basic 6.0 and/or .NET experience (C++ in commercial application environment acceptable)
  • Solid ASP.Net design and development experience
  • Database programming (SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase)
  • A proven track record of managing multiple projects and delivering completed, high-quality products on schedule

Preferred Experience:
Blackbaud will give priority consideration to candidates with background in accounting, fund raising, school administration, content management, or eCommerce.
