Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Senior Information Security Specialist to join our team in Plano, TX.

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Security Specialist will be responsible for the engineering and operational support of a major SIEM product and multiple IDS technologies. Additional responsibilities will include new product testing, roadmapping and envisioning, and project support.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum 8-10 years as an Information Security engineer
  • Strong understanding of IDS
  • Minimum 3-5 years directly supporting a commercial grade IDS product (Cisco, McAfee, Sourcefire, etc)
  • Direct customer support/interfacing
  • PERL, PHP, BASH

    Desired Skills:
  • Support of commercial grade Content Filtering tool (Websence or BlueCoat) a plus

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • 2 years college

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • CISSP
  • CCNA
