Responsibilities
- Develop complex Java/J2EE systems from use cases and wire frame diagrams. Responsibilities include analysis, design, development and testing
- Troubleshoot, enhance, support and maintain mission-critical Web and batch applications
- Apply Java development best-practices to new and existing code
- Operate at an extremely high technical level, mentor less experienced personnel and take direction from managers and other senior members of the team.

Requirements
- Expert level of knowledge of computer applications, programming and systems design/analysis.
- Exceptional logical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Detailed knowledge of industry trends with excellent skills in planning and organizing.
- 6 years of Java and J2EE application development in a Web environment
- 4 years of JSP development including experience with custom tags and the MVC pattern
- 2 year of XML (configuration and parsing)
- 6 years experience with WebSphere Studio App Developer/Rational Application Developer/Eclipse (or other integrated development environment)
- 6 years experience with ClearCase (or other comparable source control system)
- 3 years experience with Frameworks such as Struts, Spring, Hibernate and iBatis
- 5 years experience with unit testing and testing frameworks such as jUnit and Selenium
- 5 years of knowledge and working experience in SQL and database design
- Knowledge of security implications of Web applications, and have experience designing secure Web applications
- Working knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS development
- Knowledgeable of and comfortable with a formal software development methodology such as RUP
- Experience with application and system architecture
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
