Job Description:

Our Defense Mission Systems Group, located in San Diego, CA. has opportunities for mid to senior level Software Engineers. Provide support for efforts on the Joint Effects Model (JEM) Project. JEM is a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear hazard prediction tool used to assist the war fighter in determining the effects of CBRN events. Take a role in the definition of, design and development of applications, systems programs, and utility programs. Assess current system architecture and limitations, define and design complex system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters. Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system. Analyze and resolve difficult and complicated program support deficiencies. Conduct independent technical investigations in systems design. Assist in the development of the system, hardware, and software requirements. Conduct and participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with software engineers in the planning, requirements clarification, design, development, maintenance and utilization of command and control systems for maritime missions
