Design, develop, and lead moderately sized, moderately complex software development projects. Must be proficient in object oriented analysis and design, Java, J2EE technologies. Will perform logical and physical data modeling. Maintain and improves existing software systems and processes. This position requires excellent analytical, problem solving, oral and written communication skills.

Position Requirements:

Education: 4-year degree in computer science or data processing or the equivalent in work experience as outlined below with an additional 4 years of experience.

Experience: 5+ years experience in software design, analysis, and development using Java, J2EE technologies, and Visual Basic with a minimum of 3 years experience on IBM midrange systems.

Skills: Proficient in requirements definition, analysis and design, programming, integration and testing, and project acceptance. Requires expert knowledge of Java and J2EE technologies (Servlets, JSP, JSF, Beans), Visual Basic, object-oriented analysis and design, HTML, SQL, and XML. Requires a good working knowledge of WebSphere Application Server, IBM IDE (WSAD), MVC framework, Web Services, and CSS.
