Description
We are currently looking for a J2EE/Weblogic Developer for a 18 month+ contract position in Philadelphia, PA.
Develops and prepares Web page (software and graphics) solutions and the posting services associated with those screens. Primary activity will be the development of java and .jsp software. Senior position that expects that the candidate can recognize and remediate any requirements deficiencies and deliver coded solutions in a timely manner. Determines and implements (codes, integrates, installs updates to the software packages) the most efficient and cost effective software/package solution. May coordinate Web application changes with the client area's, the Web Group and development staff, operations, network, telecommunications, security and IT technical staff. Works with the above groups, as appropriate, in the testing of program and system modifications. Acts as expert technical resource to Web development staff in all phases of the Web application development process. Performs related duties as assigned or requested. Receives general supervisor form the Web Development Manager.

Required Skills
The application server platform is Weblogic 10.x. Responsibilities include supporting a collection of International Trade J2EE applications using technologies such as: Java Servlets, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, RMI, JCA, EJB, XML, XSLT, JAXP, etc. Data repositories include Oracle, IBM FileNet image and content services, base file systems. Responsibilities also include supporting Java-based services operating via an Autosys scheduler using Solaris OS.
