We have an immediate need for a J2EE and .Net Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION

Architect needs to be able to perform assessments of claims applications. They will be providing weekly status reports and provide feedback in requirement sessions. The technical environment is J2EE and .Net.

It is important that the architect has experience assessing applications in both languages (J2EE and .Net). Many of the applications are end-to-end and touch both technologies. Ancillary technologies are AIX and DB2


KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

- 8-12 years industry experience in Java and J2EE/JEE and .Net technologies

- Very strong concepts in core Java and elements of J2EE

- Experience managing development across multiple platforms & technologies (.NET & J2EE required)

- Experience in AIX and DB2 are preferred.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Ideally with an academic background in Computer Science or Engineering



ADDITIONAL NOTES:

- 3-6 months (possible Contract2Hire).

- PLEASE no Corp2Corp candidates.
