Description
This position provides end-user and system level support for JDE EnterpriseOne ERP and other homebuilder field applications. The position will support several needs including requirements gathering, end-user documentation, and user level support. The position will also assist in providing QA testing of new systems and custom enhancements to EnterpriseOne and field applications. Incumbent will work under general direction and supervision of the Director of Application Development. Work involves considerable coordination and interface with end-users, technical staff, and application vendors.REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Under minimal supervision, provides level 2 support to end-users for JDE EnterpriseOne ERP and other homebuilder field applications. The Support Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting and documenting solutions of software related problems. In addition, the Support Specialist will assist in defining custom reports, application enhancement requirements, development of end-user, training and test use-case documentation.

Requirements:

Required Skills:Functional experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial and Procurement suites including GL, AR, AP, JobCost, Budgeting and Purchasing including system setup in these areas. Some functional experience with the EnterpriseOne Toolset, Object Management Workbench, Application Debugger, Cross Reference Facility, and Universal Table Browser. Ability to read logs, debug, and test solutions of existing and new custom applications and JDE objects. Functional experience with the JDE EnterpriseOne Homebuilder module, Computers For Tracts, Build Pro or related systems will be considered a plus. Ability to work with CNC, DBA, Network, and other system professionals to troubleshoot JDE issues. AS/400, Create!Form, Cetova, and/or Crystal Report experience a major plus. The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to articulate issues and solutions in a user friendly manor. The candidate must, in addition, have the ability to communicate technical issues effectively. The candidate must have the ability to meet with end-users to design and scope reports and application enhancements as well as prepare both functional and technical end-user documentation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionEducation and Experience Associates degree in a related field or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of related support experience with JDE EnterpriseOne Procurement and Job Costing suites.
