Description
TrueBridge Resources is a full service Staffing firm. We are seeking candidates for a contract opportunity which is located in the Houston, TX area.
As a member of the ERP Support Team, the consultant works to provide end-user application support for our ERP system, equipment maintenance, and Quality Management applications, plus all ancillary interfaces.
JDE World: Primary expertise in Manufacturing/distribution/logistics module required. Some expertise in Financial Modules will be a plus. General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Job Cost, Equipment Maintenance, Purchasing, Distribution, Inventory, Sales Order Processing, Shop Floor Control, Engineering, and Product Data Management
Minimum 7 years of JDE World 7.3 experience required.

Primary Job Duties (include actual duties using any items mentioned above)
* Provide support as a temporary member of the.ERP Application Support Team*
* Assist system users of the ERP and associated applications or interfaces by providing problem resolution, instruction, or information to fulfill business needs
* Communicate effectively with users and IT staff to identify and document the specifics of a reported problem or request. Investigate and research the underlying causes of reported problems
* Facilitate resolution of problems that may require additional expertise and personnel from IT or the business community
* Periodically develop and execute reports or data extracts for ad hoc requests that cannot be fulfilled by users with existing standardized reports or reporting tools. Transition ad hoc reports to standardized reports as needed
* Document the support activities performed from initiation to final disposition of reported problems and requests
* Follow up with users to keep them apprised of the status of their problem reports or requests
* Manage assigned user support requests to meet Service Level Agreements and maintain high level of user satisfaction
* Assist in identifying and documenting common and recurring support problems. Recommend improvements, develop, or facilitate solutions in the form of communications, training, documentation, process changes, software changes, etc.
* Work with IT deployment teams to support roll-out of production changes for system upgrades, new applications, or enhancements. Assist in the areas of testing, user communications, system documentation, and trainingdf-tc
