Requirements:
- 'C' programming in a UNIX environment with 7+ years relevant experience
- Java development in a J2EE environment with 2 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated responsibilities in a structured project methodology environment
- Strong TCP/IP socket programming skills
- High-volume real-time transaction processing design
- Shell Scripting (Korn & Perl)
- Messaging protocols such as SNA, TCP/IP, X.25
- Interprocess message routing and queueing
Experience or familiarity in the following is a plus:
- Relational database concepts and interfaces (Oracle is desired)
- Telecommunications design
- SOA design models
- Hardware experience with servers running AIX

Responsibilities:
A candidate for this position will require strong communication skills to complement the desire and ability to assume technical leadership responsibilities as part of large project development efforts. A viable candidate will be clearly understood in verbal and written communications and be able to provide experiential references of successful lead development activities. A candidate for this position will be expected to be self-motivated and grow into a technical lead/application subject matter expert(SME). The SME role entails ownership of application estimating, design and development activities, as well as third-level support responsibilities and ongoing application user communication. A candidate must be able to work effectively in a multi-project, multi-tasking environment, demonstrate personal organization skills, meet target dates and be a leader/mentor for other team members.df-tc
