Description
Design, develop, implement, maintain, and document, Java-based components requiring heavy database interaction (and some .NET/C#). The current development team is small, fast, flexible, and has a proud and successful track record. The team is small with the benefits of a start-up atmosphere.
. Design software systems and components.

. Implement and test new software designs.

. Prepare various documents including specifications, detailed design descriptions and reports.

. Manage updates to deployments of the group's software.

. Track software-related task progress in various information and issue tracking systems.

Experience/Skills
. BSCS or equivalent with 5+ years experience.

. Or MSCS or equivalent with 2-3 years experience.

. 4+ years experience with the following development technologies: Java and SQL (MS SQL or Oracle). Database experience should involve solving problems with large data stores and the resulting storage and performance issues.

. Experience with other technologies: JMS, Spring, Hibernate, C#, .NET a plus.
