Java DEVELOPER WEB APPLICATIONSSalary: Up To $75,000Location: NYCReports To: Senior DeveloperDESCRIPTION:Support the needs of Investment Banking business unit. Reports to the senior developer but will have equal participation in the design process. Will be involved in every stage of the development process from conception to design, development, and production support. Should be enthusiastic about technology and bring innovation and "out of the box" thinking to the job. Must be willing to work in a mixed environment of Lotus Notes and RIA applications. Must be able to interact with users at all levels of the organization. The development at this point in time will be 40% Notes Development (to be trained if necessary) and 60% Java RIA using Nexaweb.RESPONSIBILITIES:~Design, develop, test, and implement applications.~Document relevant work; user and technical documentation.~Keep up with various advancements in technology.~Work with users at all levels of the organization to understand and define their needs for applications.~Strong communications skills, Ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:~BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, or an equivalent field, MS degree preferred.Programming languages: Java SE, EE, Lotus Notes Script (a strong plus but not requirementwill be trained), MS Access, Open Source, Apache Tomcat 5.5, Hibernate 2.1, Jasper Reports, JBoss (a plus but not requirement), JBoss portal (a plus but not requirement), ANT, CVS, C3P0 database connection clustering, Nexaweb RIA environment (a plus but not requirement), Web services experience (a plus but not requirement)Databases: SQL Server 2000, My SQL (a plus but not requirement), Oracle (a plus but not requirement)Programmer Analyst, Programmer, Application Developer, Application Programmer, Java Developer, J2EE Developer, Java Programmer, Web Developer, Web Application Developer,
