Description

Skillset Requirements
. Experience designing object oriented applications (logical and physical)
o Class models
o Collaboration models
o Activity diagrams
o Use Cases (end user and system)
. Experience resolving business problems/issues with software by gathering user requirements, creating analysis models, and creating design models.
. Experience developing xml based web applications; using xslt to generate web application content.
. Experience integrating major business applications; moving data from one system to another realtime and/or through queues (e.g. JMS).
. Experience using CVS as version control system. Experience with CVS branching and merging.
. Experience using Test First, Code Later approach to software development using JUnit.
. Experience working with end users to
o gather requirements,
o do system design, and
o explain technical solutions.
. Experience using Cocoon to develop Web applications

Nice to Haves
. Ability to write Ant build.xml files and tasks for development projects
. Experience writing Ant build tasks
. Experience deploying application to Websphere through automated scripts
. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably Movex.
. Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems, preferably Windchill
