Our client is in need of a Java Developer. The ideal candidate will have recent prior experience with WebSphere, Rational Application Developer, Rational Rose, and TestDirector.

Experience/Skills
General development - Functions of this role include writing and implementing business rules, and implementing Java methods to provide access to middle-tier logic and persistence logic.

Persistence - Functions of this role include creating commands, agents, reference data methods, and persistency methods.

Agents - Java methods that perform a specific business logic. For example, if the transaction status must change based on varying criteria an agent needs to be changed and will either change the status or invoke a method that changes the status.

Reference data methods - Java methods that also include queries against a database to bring back needed data for the application to use. It can be one data element or a set of data elements.

Persistency methods - Java methods that save, update, and retrieve data. The client utilizes Hibernate to create those persistency methods.
