Description
Modis is presently seeking a qualified Java Developer for a major financial institution, here in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with Java, Struts, Spring, Middleware components, etc. and an understanding of SQL Server and stored procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience doing analyzes, designs, implementations and would have supported web-related applications.Maintains e-commerce or business-related applications.

Knowledge of authorizing tools and human interface. Must also be experienced with performance aspects of application development.

Knowledge of DBMSs, development methodology, standards, design tools and specification representation. Java J2EE, Java Script, HTML, SQL Server. Knowledge of web design principles and standards, firewall and network security and LDAP.

This is for the TOPS project which stands for 'Tender Option Process System'. This project makes waterfall calculations on bond rates, has a reporting system to external customers, makes uploads and downloads to customers data, and has a front-end system which can show customers how their bonds are performing.
