Description
Seeking a short term (6 months maximum) contractor to interact with end-users to perform business analysis and create software design specifications.

Selected candidate will develop web application components according to said specifications and J2EE design patterns. This development will include, but is not limited to, data modeling, prototype creation, data structure design, testing, documentation, deployment, and end-user support and training. Selected candidate will also work with existing systems and/or specifications. As such, he/she must be able to quickly develop a firm understanding of system requirements by reviewing design specifications and/or existing application code.

Experience/Skills
- Must be highly skilled in the development of Web-based applications using the JAVA programming language.

- Must have experience using HTML, JSP, JavaScript and CSS and should be familiar with application frameworks such as Struts and Spring.

- Must possess exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Must be able to work independently to achieve outcomes in an expedient and professional manner and work together with individuals from various backgrounds and business units as an effective team player.

- Experience using Oracle, TOAD, iBatis SQL maps, and Crystal Enterprise.

- Solid background with formal SDLC

- Server side Java Development
