Description
Design, develop, document and test a web based healthcare system using Java, JSP, Apache Struts and EJBs. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of web application development experience. Java functions with Java Server Pages (JSPs) using STRUTS, Tiles and custom tag libraries
Install and configure web application server on workstation for development and testing
Read and understand both requirements (use cases) and architecture documents (UML)
Develop detailed designs consistent with object-oriented principles
Document detailed design objects using JavaDoc standards
Implement application design using Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application framework
Present work in peer review sessions and resolve all identified issues
Validate implementation by developing automated test cases using the JUnit framework
Develop and maintain ANT build scripts for software deployment
Accurately estimate work effort and complete assignments on schedule

Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and a minimum 4 years of experience in related technologies.

4+ years of Java experience
2+ years of JSP & Servlets
Experience with Apache Struts, Junit, WebLogic, Ant
Strong Object-Oriented Analysis & Design/UML
Desire and ability to work in a team environment
Strong commitment to developing quality software
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Willingness to learn our business
RDBMS experience

Preferred:
Healthcare knowledge
Experience with any of the following: DB2/UDB experience, XMLdf-tc
