Pointe Technology Group is currently looking to hire a Java Developer. This is a full time position located in Crystal City, VA. Candidate must be a US Citizen and clearable. Description

Software Engineer with a minimum 6 years of Java programming experience to work in a small team environment located in Crystal City, VA. Will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Must be able to work independently, as well as on a team designing/re-architecting applications, developing new functionality for existing applications and performing maintenance and system troubleshooting. Must understand the fundamentals of software development, design patterns, and the J2EE platform and be able to apply them. Must have strong experience working with SQL and should possess the ability to perform complex queries and manually update data records using SQL. Familiarity with frameworks such as SOA, Spring, Hibernate, etc. is strongly desired. Must be eligible for a Secret security clearance.


Must have the following:

Eligible for Secret Clearance
BS in Related field
6 years JAVA programming experience
Jakarta Struts Experience
4 years SQL experience
Outstanding communication skills


Preferences

LiveLink experience
BEA Weblogic experience
AJAX experience
Oracle 9i or above experience
Hibernate
UML
JAVA certification
