We are currently seeking a Java Developer to assist in the implementation of a Medicaid Management Information System. This role has responsibility for the integration and deployment of the ACS solution into the customer environment.

This is a Virtual position that can be worked from anywhere in the United States from you home office or local ACS office.


Responsibilities:

Have a working knowledge of HTML, Prototypes, and Use Cases as it pertains to design and development
Coding from Use Case activity and sequence diagrams
Unit Testing of java code
Documenting java code

REQUIRED:
(MINIMUM)

2+ years work experience developing web applications with JSP, major web servers (Apache, IIS), J2EE web containers (Tomcat), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, XML
Experience with programming in Java
Solid knowledge in object oriented programming.
Strong knowledge of (X)HTML and CSS with the ability to hand code
Working knowledge of the latest web standards and CSS-driven outputs
An understanding and ability to resolve cross-browser and platform compatibility issues
Experience using SQL with at least one major databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server or Sybase
Ability to interface successfully with clients and office personnel
Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team
Creative problem solving skills
Experience producing system specifications and documentation

Education and Typical Years Experience

PREFERRED:

Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience
Experience generating and using UML
Experience with ISAPI based application and .NET related technologies
Experience with Groovy/Grails Development
Demonstrated object oriented analysis and design skills
Ability to work in a fast paced & dynamic environment
Experience with common office automation software including MS Word, Excel, Access, etc.
Experience with Title XIX or XXI healthcare programs, including Medicaid, Medicare, or Child Health Insurance (CHIP) programs
