Role: The candidate will function as a member of the Asset Master build team.
He/she will be engaged in development work (includes Java/JSP/Sybase/MQ/ETL) and third level production support as well. Must be a team player and good at juggling tasks to cope with shifting business priorities. Candidate must have a professional attitude and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Must be amenable to working under changing priorities/pressure.
The ideal candidate must have- 9+ years total experience- brokerage/banking background- must have done data analysis- strong understanding of J2EE architecture- STRONG unix/Java/database development experience - must be current/hands on- STRONG SQL/stored PROC development in Sybase - must be current/hands on- ETL development- version control software exposure- good communication skills- strong tech. troubleshooting skills- supported global apps nice to have - preferably dealt with security master apps/market data like pricing, corporate actions and the like.- Worked on messaging infrastructure like MQ or JMS
