5+ years experience. Java and Microsoft SQL (T-SQL) possibly some C# experience. Application development from start to finish. Consistent Full Life Cycle projects. Some Financials, Long Term assignments, Previous experience designing and developing investment banking applications, experience with financial instruments is required and with Syndicated Traded Loans is a big plus. May also assume some architecture duties, including the development and maintenance of business and system architectures. May conduct complex technology and system assessments. Supports and advises internal clients and technical management. Database design and development is a must.

Front Office Loan Trading Technology Developer Description
Client technology group is looking for an experienced developer to support projects in the loan trading space. The person will be working as a member of a team to create and support interfaces for loan trading application with the downstream systems. Requirements include 5+ years of work experience in the financial industry, solid knowledge of SQL, Java, some experience with .NET and Scripting. Knowledge of the secondary loan trading space including TRS on Loans is strongly preferred and working experience with such vendor applications as LoanTrak or LoanIQ is big plus.

Primary Duties Include:
Database design/development
Server Side development for an ETL process to deliver data to the downstream systems
Building of the automated test solution and UI components to manage downstream feeds
Interfacing with other development teams to support various implementations
Working with project managers and business analysts to understand the requirements
Deliver in very short period of time
Skill Set Needed:
Expert in Java and T-SQL
Hands-on experience with C# and Scripting tools such as Python, WSH Scripting
Automated test solutions
Expert in SDLC methodology including Agile development process

Experience:
5+ years of the hands-on development experience in the financial sector
Syndicated Loan Trading business knowledge is strongly preferred
