Support the Capital Markets Technology Applications specifically applications related to pricing, hedging and securitization of Mortgages as well as applications related to income forecasting.
Participate with team of technical staff and business managers or practitioners in the business unit to determine systems requirements and functionalities needed in large/complex development project.
Assess and develop high level design requirements for project and communicate in writing or in meetings with development team. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements.
Develop code; perform reviews to advance application upgrade, extension, or other development. Analyze application for data integrity issues.
Develop Unit test cases and perform Unit testing of assigned components
Serve as a lead technical staff in course of application development project
Ability to analyze and resolve performance issue with database code involving SSIS, MS SQL
Perform production support for the income forecasting application on as needed basis
Ability to understand and support install/upgrades of Third Party forecasting Software

Must have skills
1- Expert in SSIS, MS SQL server and SQL programming
2- Expert in Java, Unix Scripting
3- Knowledge of Rational Clear Case, Clearquest, Autosys, Windows security

Additional Skills
1- Knowledge of financial instruments such as Mortgage, bonds, MBS etc preferred
8+ years of experience in information systems in programming, appl. development
