Description
This is a project management position responsible for managing a new software development project to create monthly statement reports. The development schedule is based on several iterations to incrementally build a platform for client reporting. The next generation application will include major reengineering of the current platform with the latest technologies and tools. The role requires interfacing with other technology teams, business users, operations, and vendors.

Requirements:

Skills Required ? Experience managing 2-3 projects concurrently with 15-25 resources across those projects. (Please try to keep submittals to candidates who have this scope of experience.) ? Experience in Retail Brokerage or at a minimum investment banking. ? Experience in developing and managing application builds using server side Java. (Major plus - Linux and IBM WebSphere) ? Experience with services-oriented architecture (SOA) and web services ? Experience with web front-end development using frameworks ? Experience in large scale system development ? Strong project process, methodology, and management skills ? Ability to form strong relationships with multiple businesses and other technology areas ? Strong verbal, written and people skills ? Leadership skills Skills Desired ? Experience in retail brokerage and client reporting applications ? Experience with workflow and business rule processing ? Experience with XML ?
