JAVA Eclipse RCP Developer

Statement of Work:
ASTS is looking for a JAVA Eclipse RCP expert to join a team chartered with establishing an Eclipse RCP center of excellence, implementing a reusable framework and infrastructure, and assisting application development teams in adopting Eclipse RCP.

Experience/Skills
Skill Set:
. A strong JAVA background is assumed
. Extensive development experience with Eclipse RCP is the primary requirement
. Experience with JFace/SWT UI
. Experience with some or all of the following is highly desirable:
o Building applications for the Financial Services sector
o Complex table widgets
o Real-time data presentations
o Eclipse RCP integration with Browser, Flash/Flex, MS Office, and MS activex components
o Web Services

Deliverables

. Framework common bundles:
o Data backplane
o Security
o Logging
. Infrastructure
o Build and Deploy systems
o Monitoring
. Tools, Best Practices, Design Standard
