Description
Java Engineers are team members in most stages. They participate in engagements
and/or meetings that have a technical focus. Their responsibilities differ depending
on the phase of the engagement. Responsibilities: ? Building software
components that comply with the application architecture and detailed design. ?
Building software applications to provide the technical architecture of eBusiness
sites or Webenabled business applications. ? Participating in writing detailed
design specifications of individual components ? Participating in writing test cases
for various testing phases ? Writing detailed level technical assessments and
requirements/specifications documentation ? Debugging and trouble shooting ?
Assisting in interviewing potential Engineers

Requirements: ? BS in computer science or equivalent education ? 4+ years
professional experience in developing customized Internet applications ? 3+ years
professional experience in technologies such as Java, ASP/ASP.Net, SQL and XML/
XSL ? 3+ years professional experience in OOA&D (Object-Oriented Analysis &
Design) and UML ? 2+ years experience with testing code to support QA efforts ?
2+ years experience with content management system requirements ? Experience
with n-tier architecture ? Experience with database technologies i.e. Oracle, DB2
or SQL Server. ? Experience with server-side and client-side technologies ?
Experience with the systems life cycle and process (e.g. RUP) ? Understanding of
code manipulation and optimization issues ? Understanding of different Web and
application servers i.e. IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSpheredf-tc
