Description
Our client is seeking a technical lead for their LMS, E-Commerce and internal admin systems. The primary responsibilities for this position are:

  • Develop web based applications using Java/J2EE and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Build and maintain core applications in accordance with industry best practices and standards
  • Lead small teams as well as work independently to build solutions in a demanding, fast-paced work environment
  • Research new technologies to determine potential for customers and employees; make recommendations for implementation

    Experience/Skills
    • Hands-on software developer with strong knowledge and three years experience with Java/J2EE development; EJB, struts, CSS and web interface
    • Detailed understanding and two years experience with SQL 2000 databases; stored procedures, SQL, and database schemas
    • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting skills
    • Strong verbal communication, creative, and business writing skills.
    • Manage multiple projects within expected deadlines and prioritize accordingly
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective work relationships with others
    • Bachelors level education in computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.

      Preferred:

      • Intermediate Cascade Styling Sheets - CSS
      • Intermediate SQL
