Description


Modis is currently seeking a J2EE/Web Service Developer for an exciting contract to hire opportunity with our client in the Dallas, TX area.

The position is expected to start immediately and last for an initial duration of 12 months prior to full time conversion.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The J2EE Developer will be working in a team environment to add functionality to a Web based sales system.

Primary responsibilities will include:
- Participating as an integral team member during each phase of the full software development life cycle
- Design and developing Java/J2EE/ATG based eCommerce applications in an Oracle/WebLogic environment
- Developing SOAP based WebServices
- Programming user interfaces using JSP, AJAX, XML and XSLT technologies
- Providing leadership and technical direction to Junior members of the team
- Taking ownership of special projects


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Minimum Bachelors Degree with 7 years experience in a related IT Field
- Expert Java/J2EE Development skills
- At least 1 year of experience with ATG eCommerce products (ATG Commerce 2007) is required
- Strong UI Design/Development (JSP, AJAX, HTML, XML)
- Demonstrated experience in each phase of the software development life cycle

Pay Rate: $45 - $50/hour W2
Annual Salary $95,000+
