Description
Our client in Minneapolis is in need of a Permanent Java/J2EE developer to add to the team. The Java developer will work in the java group to architect, design and lead development from small to large size web applications, which include project, support and infrastructure activity for internet applications. Additional duties include working on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors, working on problems involving the evaluation of specifications for complex business requirements and processes (new, enhancements, maintenance), and developing and preparing computer solutions using the system development life cycle. The Java developer is required to form and lead modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts, verify program logic by preparing test data for trial runs, tests and debugs programs, and participate in the overall systems testing and support of the application implementation into production. Experience/Skills
Technical Skills: •Strong understanding and experience in SDLC and Object Oriented development methodology. •Strong development skills including Java/J2EE (application, servlet, JavaBeans/EJB), SQL, Web Services, Struts, Spring, , Freemarker, Javascript, JSP, ANT, HTML and XML. Experience with Oracle, UNIX, WSAD, Websphere and/or Weblogic, Agile Methodologies, JSF, and Hibernate highly preferred. •Strong understanding of Object Oriented design and knowledge of design patterns. •Ability to handle multiple projects, users and interfaces concurrently. Non-technical Skills: •Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Thrives on problem solving. •Possesses strong troubleshooting skills. •Strives to learn new things and grow.
